PADEN MAN ARRESTED FOR FELONY DRUG POSSESSION

On February 27, 2017, Tishomingo Sheriff’s deputies responded to an accident that had occurred on HWY 25, just South of the Iuka City Limits. The deputies arrived on scene and a male subject came out of the wrecked vehicle and approached the deputies. The driver then became confrontational with the deputies, so the driver was placed under arrest. A search was then conducted of the wrecked vehicle and some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE, MARIJUANA, and several other items that are used in the selling, packaging and weighing of the narcotics was found. The deputies also found notes in the vehicle that indicated the selling of narcotics along with a firearm as well. The driver was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
DUSTIN MCCOY, 24-year-old, white male of 22 Railroad Avenue Paden, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) WITH INTENT TO SELL. MCCOY’s bond was set at $5,000.00 by Justice Court.
