ALABAMA FEMALE ARRESTED FOR METH

On March 10, 2017, Tishomingo Sheriff Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on HWY 25 in the Tishomingo area for improper equipment. Once the vehicle was stopped, the deputies noticed that the passengers of the vehicle appeared to be under some type of narcotic and acting nervous. The deputy asked the driver and the passenger for Consent to Search, which was given to the deputy, and some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE was found in the purse belonging to the passenger. A smaller bag of alleged METHAMPHETAMINE was also found in the driver’s seat. Both the driver and the passenger were arrested and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
LACEY HARVILLE STRICKLAND, 23-year-old, white female, of 3276 Old Chism Road Florence, Alabama was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). STRICKLAND’s bond was set by Justice Court at $3,500.00 to which she was able to make bond. STRICKLAND remains in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail however, due to an OUTSTANDING WARRANT out of Hardin County Tennessee, which she will be extradited for.
