MARCH 17TH BUSY NIGHT FOR DEPUTIES

Tishomingo Sheriff Deputies were busy patrolling Friday night, March 17th, 2017 and were able to conduct several traffic stops. Some of those stops lead to FELONY DRUG ARRESTS with other FELONY charges on some. Here is the list of those stopped and charged:
- HALEY JO HARDISON, 24-year-old, white female of 299 CR 201 Iuka, Mississippi was arrested after pulling up to a residence where deputies for the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department were already there due to a disturbance call. Deputies confronted HARDISON who admitted to the deputies she had in her possession, some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE. HARDISON was transported to the Tishomingo County Jail where she was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). HARDISON’s bond was set by Justice Court at $5,000.00.
- DAVID LEE JOHNSON, JR, 43-year-old, white male of 127 CR 244 Iuka, Mississippi was arrested after being watched stopping in a parking lot of a local church. The deputies made contact with the driver and was able to check the driver and the vehicle. The deputies discovered a large amount of alleged METHAMPHETAMINE in the console of the vehicle as well as finding a firearm close by. JOHNSON was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail where he was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) W/INTENT TO SELL – ENHANCED DUE TO BEING AT A CHURCH AND HAVING A FIREARM. JOHNSON was also charged with POSSESSION OF FIREARM BY CONVICTED FELON. JOHNSON’s bond was set by Justice Court at $5,000.00 for the drug charges and $5,000.00 for the weapon charges. JOHNSON is also currently on probation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections and remains in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail.
- DONNA FORD, 52-year-old, white female of 98 CR 365 Apartment #3 Burnsville, Mississippi was arrested after being stopped on HWY 25 for erratic driving. During the course of the traffic stop, the deputy discovered that FORD did not have valid driver’s license. During a Search Incident to Arrest, the deputy discovered needles which tested positive for METHAMPHETAMINE as well as several different pills, that were located in the purse of FORD. FORD was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail where she was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) & FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (HYDROCODONE). FORD’s bond was set by Justice Court at a total of $7,500.00
