K9 SEARCH LEADS TO ARREST OF A GLEN MAN

On March 19, 2017, Tishomingo Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on HWY 25 in the Tishomingo area, due to improper equipment and having an expired tag. While the deputies were speaking with the driver of the vehicle, the deputies noticed the driver appeared to be under the influence of some type of narcotic. The deputies asked the driver for Consent to Search and was given permission by the driver. Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department K-9 was on scene and located a bag of alleged METHAMPHETAMINE in the middle console of the vehicle. The driver was then arrested and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
TRACY SWITCHER, 47-year-old, white male of 6 CR 241 Glen, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). SWITCHER’s bond was set at $3,500 by Justice Court.
