IUKA WOMAN ARRESTED FOR EMBEZZLEMENT

IUKA WOMAN ARRESTED FOR EMBEZZLEMENT

March 27, 2017

On March 24, 2017, the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department issued and served an ARREST WARRANT for Heather Nicole Potts, for EMBEZZLEMENT.  The Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department had received a report from the Tishomingo High School Touchdown Club, requesting an investigation to be conducted into some funds that appeared to be misappropriated.  During the course of the investigation, it was determined that the treasure for the Touchdown Club, Heather Potts, had been gaining access to the account and withdrawing funds from the organization.  It was also learned that Heather Potts was convicted of a Felony EMBEZZLEMENT in 2004, under the name of Heather Flack.  This investigation is still ongoing and will be presented to the next available Grand Jury.

HEATHER NICOLE POTTS, 34-year-old, white female, of 24 CR 475 Burnsville, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY EMBEZZLEMENT.  POTTS bond was set by Justice Court at $12,000.00.
