METH & MARIJUANA SENDS IUKA MAN TO JAIL
April 4, 2017
On March 29, 2017, Tishomingo Sheriff’s Deputies stopped a vehicle on HWY 25 due to litter being thrown out from the vehicle. Once the deputy made contact with the driver, the deputy began informing the driver the reason for the traffic stop. At this time, the deputy was able to smell an odor that is consistent to MARIJUANA coming from the vehicle. Tishomingo Sheriff Deputies then began a search of the vehicle and discovered some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE as well as some alleged MARIJUANA, and some paraphernalia that was hidden behind the dash of the vehicle. At this time, the deputies arrested the driver and transported him to the Tishomingo County Jail.
CHASE PRICE, 20-year-old, white male of 77 CR 277 Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE).
