BELMONT MAN ARRESTED FOR DRUGS

On April 1, 2017, Tishomingo Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for reckless driving on Duncan Road in the Belmont/Golden area. After approaching the vehicle, the deputies were able to detect an odor of MARIJUANA coming from the vehicle. The driver was asked to step out of the vehicle and a search incident to arrest, yielded some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE, MARIJUANA, and a METH-PIPE. The driver was then placed under arrest and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
CODY ALDRIDGE, 26-year-old, white male of 1560 Washington Street Belmont, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) and MISDEMEANOR POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (MARIJUANA). ALDRIDGE’S bond for the FELONY charge was set at $5,000.00 by Justice Court.
