GOLDEN MAN ARRESTED FOR METH

On April 18, 2017, the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the Belmont area, due to the vehicle showing an expired tag. As the deputy was approaching the driver, the deputy was able to smell an odor that is consistent with MARIJUANA. The deputy was able to check the vehicle and find some alleged MARIJUANA residue and paraphernalia. Also during the search, the deputy found a cigarette pack that contained some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE. The driver was then placed under arrest and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
MICHAEL EUGENE PHARR, 28-year-old, white male of Golden, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). PHARR’s bond was set at $5,000.00 by Justice Court.
