May 12, 2017
On May 3, 2017, the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to a mobile home fire on CR 303 Lot #5 in Iuka, Mississippi. When the Tishomingo Fire Investigator arrived on scene, the mobile home was a complete loss. The homeowner told the Fire Investigator that she had let Jonathan Aldridge out of her vehicle earlier that day while she was in route to work. The following day, ALDRIDGE came to the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department and turned himself in. ALDRIDGE admitted to setting the fire at the home and wanted to come and turn himself in. ALDRIDGE stated to the investigators that he done this because of his drug problem and wanted help.
JONATHAN ALDRIDGE, 27-year-old, white male, 53 CR 303 Lot #5 Iuka, Mississippi, was officially charged with ARSON. ALDRIDGE’s bond was set at $50,000 by Justice Court and remains in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail.
