BURNSVILLE FIRE RULED ARSON

BURNSVILLE FIRE RULED ARSON

May 12, 2017

The Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department had officially announced today that the house fire at 65 Front Street in Burnsville, has been ruled an ARSON.  Sheriff John Daugherty states that the preliminary investigation began leaning toward this once his investigators along with the State Fire Marshal’s Office reviewed all evidence that was at the scene as well as eyewitness accounts pertaining to the alleged Suspect, Ronald Cannon.  Cannon and the homeowner had a prior relationship with each other, but the homeowner was not at the residence at the time of the fire.  The homeowner has been cleared of any wrong doings.  Ronald Cannon was transported to the Med in Memphis where he unfortunately died from the injuries that were caused by the fire.
