MULTIPLE DRUG ARRESTS MADE

Sheriff John Daugherty of the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department would like to inform the public of the following arrest(s) that were made in Tishomingo County.
Date: April 8, 2016
A traffic stop was conducted by deputies with the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department around the intersection of HWY 25 & HWY 30 for traffic violations. During the course of the traffic stop, the deputies asked the driver for Consent to Search, which was given by the driver. The deputies found during the course of the search, some Alleged Methamphetamine, to which the driver admitted to possession. The driver, JACOB HILL, 30-year-old, White Male, of 481, Mississippi Avenue, Paden, Mississippi, was transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
HILL was then charged with POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) and had a Circuit Court bond set at $5,000.00 by the judge. (Photo below..)

Tishomingo Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a disturbance that was going on around County Road 177. While the deputies were on scene, the deputies noticed that someone at the residence was growing some Alleged Marijuana in the back yard of the residence. The individual at the residence admitted to the growing of the Alleged Marijuana plant and was detained and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail. Once there, the individual at the residence, JAMES SCHNEIDER, 54-year-old, White Male, of 39 CR 177, Iuka, Mississippi, was officially charged with MANUFACTURING A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (MARIJUANA).
SCHNEIDER had a Circuit Court bond set at $5,000.00 by the judge. (Photo below..)

Tishomingo Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on County Road 35 in the Belmont area for traffic violations. Narcotic officers arrived along with officers with the Belmont Police Department due to information that the driver had been selling alleged narcotics in the community. Narcotic officers asked for a Consent to Search the residence of the driver, which was located at 6 CR 42 Dennis, Mississippi. The driver/homeowner gave said permission and with the help of the Belmont Police Department, the search yielded some Alleged Methamphetamine as well as other paraphernalia that was used to package the Alleged Methamphetamine. The driver/homeowner, SHAWNIE YOUNG, 43-year-old, White Female, 6 CR 42, Dennis, Mississippi was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
YOUNG was then charged with POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) and had a Circuit Court bond set at $5,000.00 by the judge. (Photo below..)
Sheriff Daugherty stated that this arrest COULD ONLY BE POSSIBLE due to the help of the Belmont Police Department, and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, assisting his agency and this type of cooperation is always needed and excepted.

Tishomingo Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of County Road 147 & 392, due to the vehicle’s erratic driving. The deputy asked the driver of the vehicle to step out and once the deputy was able to speak with the driver, the deputy could tell that the driver appeared to be under the influence of some type of narcotic. The deputies asked the driver did she have anything illegal on her person, prior to being placed in the patrol car. The driver then was able to remove from her clothing, approximately six (6) bags of Alleged Methamphetamine and handed the alleged bags to the deputies. The driver was then placed under arrest and a search of the vehicle showed that the driver had several pills of alleged Morphine, OxyContin, and some diet pills. Also another bag of Alleged Methamphetamine was found in the vehicle.
The driver, CIJI PARMER RUBLE, 33-year-old, White Female, 1346 Doc Stanphill Road, Tremont, Mississippi was transported to the Tishomingo County Jail and was charged with POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE WITH INTENT TO SELL (2 COUNTS), POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (OXYCONTIN).
RUBLE had a Circuit Court bond set at $25,000.00 by the judge. (Photo below..)
