NORTH CROSSROADS WOMAN ARRESTED FOR DRUGS

On July 9, 2017, deputies with the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Department went to a residence in the North Crossroads area of the county due to the investigation of drug use and selling of drugs from the residence. Tishomingo Sheriff’s deputies were able to search the residence and locate several syringes with alleged METHAMPHETAMINE ready to use. The deputies also were able to recover some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE as well as an unknown substance possibly used to mix the alleged METHAMPHETAMINE to increase the weight during a sell. Deputies also recovered other types of paraphernalia that would be used in the selling of narcotics. The homeowner was then arrested and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
DONNY RENA FORD, 52-year-old, white female of 98 CR 365 North Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). FORD’s bond was set by Justice Court at $5,000.00 and also a “hold” was placed on FORD by the MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS due to FORD being under probation by the MDOC. Sheriff Daugherty states that this is an ongoing investigation and more arrest may be forthcoming.
