IUKA MAN ARRESTED FOR METH
August 3, 2017
On August 2, 2017, Narcotics Investigators with the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop on Pike Street in Iuka, due to running a stop sign. During the course of the traffic stop, investigators learned that no one in the vehicle had a driver’s license. At this time, the passenger was asked to step out of the vehicle due to one of the investigators observing the passenger sitting on what appeared to be two (2) bags of alleged METHAMPHETAMINE. The investigators then determined the substance the passenger was sitting on was in fact METHAMPHETAMINE. The passenger was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
CAREY DILLARD, 42-year-old, white male of 110 CR 995 Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). DILLARD remains in the custody of the Tishomingo County Jail, awaiting bail to be set by Justice Court.
