BURNSVILLE MAN CHARGED WITH INTENT TO SELL

 

October 13, 2017

On October 12, 2017, deputies for the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint of a man attempting to gain entry into a vehicle at a local business in Iuka.  Iuka Police responded with the deputies and when they arrived on scene, the officers made contact with a man that was standing in the parking lot beside a vehicle.  The officers checked the man for any type of weapons and found some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE in the pocket of the man.  The man was then arrested by the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Office and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.

PHILLIP STIDHAM, 50-year-old, white male, of 38 Turnpike Mtn RD Burnsville, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) W/ INTENT TO SELL – ENHANCED within 1500 FEET OF A CHURCH.  STIDHAM remains in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond.
