MULTIPLE ARRESTS FOR BURNSVILLE MAN

On October 26, 2017, Tishomingo Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on HWY 356 South in Burnsville for reckless driving. After the deputies were able to speak with the driver, a passenger in the vehicle gave the deputies a pistol. Deputies recognized the passenger as a convicted felon and immediately placed the passenger under arrest. A search of the vehicle yielded more pills and some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE. The passenger was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
BOBBY JOHN VOYLES, 40-year-old, white male of 116 Jefferson Street was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) W/ INTENT TO SELL, FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) / ENHANCED DUE TO A FIREARM, and POSSESSION OF WEAPON BY A CONVICTED FELON. VOYLES remains in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail on a $35,000 bond set by Justice Court.
