CORINTH WOMAN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES

CORINTH WOMAN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES

November 1, 2017

On October 28, 2017, Tishomingo Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle on HWY 72 in Burnsville for a switched tag.  After speaking with the driver of the vehicle, another vehicle stopped behind the deputies.  The deputies were able to get a CONSENT TO SEARCH on both vehicles, due to the interaction with both drivers.  During the search, some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE was found in one of the vehicles.  A driver claimed responsibility for the alleged METHAMPHETAMINE and was arrested and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.

AMANDA HICKS, 37-year-old, white female, of Gains Road Apartment Corinth, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE).  HICKS remains in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail on a $3,000.00 bond set by Justice Court.  HICKS also has a hold placed on her by Pontotoc Police Department.
