WANTED MAN ARRESTED IN LOCAL PARK

On November 4, 2017, deputies for the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Office were patrolling the Town of Paden and noticed an individual, that had a CAPIAS WARRANT, in the local park. Deputies immediately placed the individual under arrest and during a SEARCH-INCIDENT-TO-ARREST, two (2) bags of alleged METHAMPHETAMINE was found in the clothes of the individual. Deputies immediately transported the individual to the Tishomingo County Jail.
JOSEPH WIGGINTON, 29-year-old, white male, of 1108 South Pearl Street Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with CAPIAS WARRANT – Tishomingo County Circuit Court and also a new charge of FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). WIGGINTON’s bond was set for the CAPIAS for $5,000.00 and Justice Court issued a bond in the amount of $5,000.00 for the new possession charge. WIGGINTON is currently out on bond and this case will be presented to the next Grand Jury.
