CORINTH MAN CHARGED FOR BRINGING CONTRABAND INTO JAIL

On February 13, 2018, Tishomingo Sheriff’s deputies were checking on some individuals that were camping on other people’s property. One of the individuals had some drug paraphernalia as well as some alleged narcotic residue on his person. Deputies place the individual under arrest for the Possession of Paraphernalia and transport him to the Tishomingo County Jail. Once at the jail, correctional officers found some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE which was hid on the person of the Suspect.
NATHAN LEE SHELTON, 31-year-old, white male of 132A CR 405 Corinth, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY INTRODUCTION OF NARCOTICS INTO A CORRECTIONAL FACILITY. Bond was set by Justice Court on SHELTON in the amount of $1,000.00.
