DISTURBANCE CALL LEADS TO SHOOTING

On Wednesday, April 4, 2018, deputies were responding to a call involving a disturbance occurring at a residence in the Burnsville area Deputies were informed that possible gunshots could be heard during the call.  Extra precaution was taken when officers arrived on scene. 

An officer involved shooting then occurred and as protocol, sheriff’s officials notified the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation.

Any further information must be addressed by the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.
