STRANDED MOTORIST ARRESTED AFTER TRYING TO HIDE DRUGS

On June 11, 2018, Tishomingo Sheriff’s deputies stopped to assist a stranded motorist with his vehicle that appeared to be broke down around HWY 350. As the deputies approached the driver, deputies noticed the driver attempting to hide something from the deputies. Sheriff deputies asked the driver out of the vehicle and searched him and found some alleged HYDROCODONE in his clothes. Deputies also recovered some more alleged narcotics from the vehicle. The driver was arrested and then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
JAMES MOORE, 36-year-old, white male of 30011 HWY 15 Walnut, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (HYDROCODONE). MOORE’S bond was set by Justice Court in the amount of $2,500.00. MOORE remains in custody.
