UNRESPONSIVE OCCUPANT LEADS TO ARREST

On July 7, 2018, Tishomingo Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a business on HWY 72 in Burnsville in reference to a suspicious vehicle with a male slumped over the seat. When deputies arrived, they found a male in the driver’s side asleep. After waking the man up, deputies discovered an active ARREST WARRANTS on the individual. After the deputies placed the male under arrest, deputies discovered a black pouch with alleged METHAMPHETAMINE laying in the driver’s seat. The male was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
JOHNATHAN HORNER, 30-year-old, white male of 194 CR 255 Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). HORNER’s bond was set by Justice Court at $1,500.00. The ARREST WARRANTS was for a misdemeanor offense from the City of Iuka as well as a misdemeanor offense from Justice Court.
