TENNESSEE MAN ARRESTED FOR DRUGS

TENNESSEE MAN ARRESTED FOR DRUGS

August 14, 2018

On August 9, 2018, Tishomingo Sheriff deputies conducted a traffic stop on HWY 72 in the Burnsville area for not displaying a car tag.  The driver of the vehicle informed the deputy that he had taken some medication prior to getting behind the wheel of the vehicle.  The deputy asked the driver for permission to search the vehicle and was given permission by the driver.  The deputy found some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE on a passenger that was with the driver.  The passenger was then arrested and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.

DWAYNE BOSTON, 45-year-old, white male, of 520 1st Pitsburg Drive Savannah, Tennessee was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE).  BOSTON is also currently on probation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections for an unrelated crime.
