DRUG ARRESTS MADE OVER WEEKEND

 

August 20, 2018

On August 18, 2018, Tishomingo Sheriff’s deputies were conducting a SAFETY CHECK-POINT on CR 992 in the Iuka area.  A pickup truck pulled up to the SAFETY CHECK-POINT and deputies noticed a pipe that is commonly used to smoke METHAMPHETAMINE was seen in plain view of the cab of truck.  When the deputies confronted the driver, the driver sped off down CR 992.  Tishomingo Sheriff’s deputies pursued the driver until the driver finally pulled over to the side of the road and was arrested.  Deputies noticed that the driver had attempted to throw away some alleged bags of METHAMPHETAMINE but the bags were all recovered by deputies.   Deputies also discovered a firearm in the vehicle and the driver is currently on probation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections for a previous FELONY drug crime.  The driver was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.

BILLY DON HALL, 35-year-old, white male of 30 CR 42 Dennis, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY TAMPERING WITH EVIDENCE, FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) W/INTENT TO SELL, POSSESSION OF FIREARM BY CONVICTED FELON, and FELONY FLEEING.  HALL remains in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail waiting for a Justice Court bond to be set.  The MDOC has also placed a “hold” on HALL as well.

 

On August 19, 2018, Tishomingo Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and during the course of the stop, the driver of the vehicle attempted to throw out some bags of alleged METHAMPHETAMINE.  The driver was also found to be on probation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections for a prior felony conviction.  Deputies transported the driver to the Tishomingo County Jail.

ERBY LAMAR DILLINGHAM, 55-year-old, white male, of 1824 HWY 25 North Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) W/INTENT TO SELL, FELONY TAMPERING WITH EVIDENCE, and CONSPIRACTY TO SELL METHAMPHETAMINE.  DILLINGHAM remains in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail waiting for a Justice Court bond to be set.  The MDOC has also placed a “hold” on DILLINGHAM as well.
