DENNIS MAN ARRESTED FOR AGGRAVATED ASSAULT

On August 18, 2018, the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Office responded to a call pertaining to a disturbance going on in the parking lot of Southern Variety Grocery in Dennis.  When deputies arrived, the Suspect had used his personal vehicle and intentionally struck another vehicle that had a female behind the wheel.  The Suspect had also hit other vehicles in the parking lot during this altercation with the female.  Deputies immediately arrested the Suspect and took care of the Victim.  The Victim did not sustain any injuries and was released from the scene.  Deputies report that the Victim and Suspect knew each other but was not in a relationship with each other at the time of the incident.  The Suspect was arrested and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.

EARL WAYNE “ROBBIE” ROBINSON, 46-year-old, white male of 26 CR 417 Dennis, Mississippi was officially charged with AGGRAVATED ASSAULT – MANIFESTING EXTREME INDIFFERENCE TO HUMAN LIFE.  ROBINSON’s bond was set by Justice Court at $100,000.00.  ROBINSON remains in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail.
