IUKA MAN CHARGED WITH DRUGS

On September 16, 2018, Tishomingo Sheriff deputies conducted a traffic stop on Battleground Drive in Iuka, on a vehicle for not displaying a tag. Once the deputies approached the vehicle, officers noticed several open containers of alcohol throughout the vehicle and learned that both the driver and passenger had been drinking. The back-seat passenger showed to have outstanding FELONY WARRANTS out of Alabama and was immediately arrested along with the driver and the other passenger. Once the deputies arrived at the jail, a search of one of the Suspects turned up some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE as well as some drug paraphernalia, all hidden inside the pants of the Suspect.
RODNEY LINDLEY, 37-year-old, white male of 5B Ridge Drive Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). LINDLEY remains in the custody of the Tishomingo County Jail.
