2 ARRESTED IN BURNSVILLE

On June 23, 2016 the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of two individuals acting strange at a local business in Burnsville. When the deputies arrived, they found the two people that were called about and discovered that both of them were under the influence of some type of narcotic. During a “Pat-Down”, both individuals were found to have drug paraphernalia on their persons.
The Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department then issued a Search Warrant on the residence of these two individuals. The search yielded some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE and paraphernalia was found throughout the residence which is used to inject the alleged METHAMPHETAMINE into the body.
Arrested were the following:
- CANDACE RUSSELL, 27-year-old white female, of 233 CR 298 Burnsville, Mississippi
- BOBBY RUSSELL, 37-year-old white male, also of 233 CR 298 Burnsville, Mississippi.
CANDACE RUSSELL was charged with POSS OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE), PUBLIC INTOXICATION, and POSS OF PARAPHERNAILA.
BOBBY RUSSELL was charged with POSS OF PARAPHERNAILA and PUBLIC INTOXICATION.
Both remain in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting a bond to be set.
