IUKA MAN CHARGED WITH MULTIPLE FELONIES

On October 1, 2018, Tishomingo Sheriff deputies went to a residence on CR 192 in Iuka in reference to an earlier report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was stolen from a residence on CR 173 in Iuka and deputies located the vehicle, hid behind a residence on CR 192. Deputies began questioning the occupants of the residence and during this time, some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE was discovered on one of the occupants. That occupant then attempted to destroy the evidence and did not succeed. Deputies then transported all the occupants to the Tishomingo County Jail. After the investigation was completed, most occupants were released.
ANTHONY RALPH VESCIO, 54-year-old, white male, of 206 CR 173 Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE), FELONY TAMPERING WITH EVIDENCE, and FELONY TAKING OF MOTOR VEHICLE. VESCIO’s bond was set at $50,000 by Justice Court. VESCIO is also currently on probation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
