CORINTH MAN ARRESTED FOR WARRANT AND DRUGS

On October 31, 2018, Tishomingo Sheriff deputies conducted a traffic stop due to knowing that the driver of the vehicle had an outstanding WARRANT, for Fail To Appear, for their arrest. Once the driver was placed under arrest for the WARRANT, a search of the vehicle was then conducted. During the search, deputies located a liquid that tested positive for alleged METHAMPHETAMINE. Deputies also found several other items which is used to weigh, conceal, and process drugs. Also, during the search, a bag containing alleged METHAMPHETAMINE was also found hidden in the vehicle. The driver was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
BOBBY LEE RUSSELL, 40-year-old, white male of 1209 Clover Lane Corinth, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETMAINE). RUSSELL’s bond was set at $2,800.00 by Justice Court.
