IUKA WOMAN CHARGED WITH POSSESSING DRUGS AND TAMPERING

On November 4, 2018, the Tishomingo Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on HWY 25 for Careless Driving. Once the deputies approached the vehicle, they spoke with the driver, a juvenile, and also became suspicious of the occupant’s actions and moving around. Deputies asked for Consent to Search and found drug needles in the vehicle. The occupant was arrested for the paraphernalia and parents of the juvenile driver were contacted. Deputies then transported the occupant to the Tishomingo County Jail. Once at the jail, deputies found some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE on the occupant that the occupant was attempting to hide.
CRISSMA WORTHAM, 19-year-old, white female of 906 West Wood Circle Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) and FELONY TAMPERING WITH EVIDENCE. WORTHAM remains in custody of the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set by Justice Court.
