IUKA MAN ARRESTED FOR DRUGS

On November 19, 2018, Tishomingo County Sheriff deputies conducted a traffic stop around CR 231 in the Iuka area for improper equipment. While the deputies were speaking to the driver of the vehicle, they learned that the driver had suspended license. The deputies then placed the driver under arrest and during a search of the driver, deputies found some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE on the driver. Deputies then transported the driver to the Tishomingo County Jail.
ALPHUS CLAY PARSON, 44-year-old, white male of 1209 South Pearl Street Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). PARSON’s bond was set by Justice Court at $20,000.00.
