BURNSVILLE MAN ARRESTED FOR DRUGS

November 21, 2018

On November 20, 2018, Tishomingo County Sheriff deputies conducted a traffic stop in Burnsville for Improper Equipment.  Deputies learned that the driver of the vehicle had suspended driver’s license and was placed under arrest at that time.  While conducting a “pat-down” on the driver, deputies found some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE on the driver as well as other types of paraphernalia that is used to weigh, package and smoke the alleged meth throughout the vehicle.  The driver was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.

DANNY LANE WILSON, 53-year-old, white male of 36 Front Street Burnsville, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE).  WILSON remains in the custody of the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set.  WILSON is also currently on probation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
