ALABAMA MAN ARRESTED FOR DRUGS
November 27, 2018
On November 26, 2018, Tishomingo County Sheriff deputies noticed a vehicle parked at a gas station and both the driver and passenger appeared to have fallen asleep. As the deputies got closer to vehicle, a “meth pipe” could be seen in the vehicle by the deputies. Police Officers from the Iuka Police Department arrived and assisted the deputies in getting both the driver and passenger out of the vehicle. Drug paraphernalia was found on both the driver and passenger as well as some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE being found on the driver. A search of the passengers’ personal belongings yielded a “used” syringe that is commonly used by those that use either METHAMPHETAMINE or HEROIN. Both the driver and passenger were then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
DONNIE ADAIR, 60-year-old, white male of 1183 Old Houston Road Arley, Alabama was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). ADAIR remains in the custody of the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set by Justice Court. The passenger was charged with only misdemeanors and is also in the custody of the Tishomingo County Jail.
