CORINTH MAN ARRESTED FOR DRUGS

CORINTH MAN ARRESTED FOR DRUGS

November 27, 2018

On November 26, 2018, Tishomingo County Sheriff Deputies along with the Burnsville Police Department conducted a traffic stop in Burnsville for Improper Equipment.  During the course of the traffic stop, law enforcement learned that the driver of the vehicle had not only a suspended driver’s license but also an ARREST WARRANT from Alcorn County for an outstanding misdemeanor.  At this time, law enforcement placed the driver under arrest and during this, some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE was found in the coat pocket of the driver.  The driver was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.

MICHAEL MCNAIR, 54-year-old, white male of 36 CR 716 Corinth, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE).  MCNAIR also has a “hold” placed on him by Alcorn County Sheriff’s Office for the ARREST WARRANT – Fail to Appear.  MCNAIR remains in the custody of the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set by Justice Court.
