ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF PRESCRIPTION PILLS LEADS TO ARREST

On December 13, 2018, Tishomingo County Sheriff’s deputies went to 92 CR 306 in Iuka, in reference to a female making threats and acting like she was under the influence. When deputies arrived at the residence, they were able to make contact with the female and was given consent to search her apartment by the deputies. During the search, deputies located some alleged AMPHETAMINE (Adderall), which is a highly addictive narcotic and shows the same symptoms as METHAMPHETAMINE. Deputies also learned that the female did not have a prescription for the alleged AMPHETAMINE and was arrested and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
JANA FAYE LYNCH, 44-year-old, white female of 92 CR 306 Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (AMPHETAMINE). LYNCH remains in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set by Justice Court.
