TRESPASSING LEADS TO A DRUG ARREST FOR A GOLDEN MAN

On December 13, 2018, Tishomingo County Sheriff Deputies received information that several people were inside a residence in Golden.  The homeowner who was not at home, informed the deputies that they wanted the individuals to leave the property.  Deputies arrived and confronted several people who were in the residence.  During a check of those individuals, deputies found some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE on one of the persons there.  Deputies arrested the person with the alleged narcotic and escorted the rest of the individuals out of the residence. 

JEFFERY THORN, 52-year-old, white male of 8005 State Line Road Golden, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE).  THORN’s bond was set by Justice Court at $5,000.00.  The Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Department would like to thank the Golden Police Department in assisting them with this situation.
