TISHOMINGO MAN CHARGED FOR METH

 

December 26, 2018

On December 21, 2018, Tishomingo County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the town of Tishomingo.  During the course of the traffic stop, deputies observed some drug paraphernalia in the vehicle and placed the driver under arrest.  During the arrest, deputies found some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE on the driver.  The driver was arrested and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.  During the booking process, the driver attempted to hide some more alleged METHAMPHETAMINE but was caught by officers.

ROBERTO LAMONT SPENCER, 43-year-old, black male of 12 CR 93 Tishomingo, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) and FELONY TAMPERING WITH EVIDENCE (METHAMPETAMINE).  SPENCER’s bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court at $5,000 for each offense for a total of $10,000.
