BELMONT WOMAN CHARGED FOR DRUGS

On December 23, 2018, Tishomingo County Sheriff Deputies along with the Belmont Police Department were conducting a safety check-point in Belmont.   A vehicle pulled up to the check-point and could not produce any proof of insurance.  Deputies began speaking to the driver and became suspicious that the driver maybe under the influence of some type of drug.  The driver was asked to step out and gave the deputies permission to conduct a search.  Deputies then recovered some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE in the coat pocket of the driver due to the search given by the driver.  The driver was then arrested and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.

JESSICA BOLEN, 31-year-old, white female of 1 Shady Cove Belmont, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE).  BOLEN’s bond was set by Justice Court at $5,000.00.
