BURNSVILLE MAN ARRESTED FOR DRUGS AND GUNS

On January 9, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a disturbance call at Holt Avenue in Burnsville.  When the deputies arrived, they met a man that might had been involved involved in the situation.  Deputies conducted a pat-down of the man and found a small caliber pistol in the back pocket.  The man was immediately arrested due to the deputies knowing the man is a convicted felon.  A further search of the man yielded some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE being found on his person as well.  Deputies then transported the man to the Tishomingo County Jail.

CHRISTOPHER GARRETT, 28-year-old, white male, of 7 Holt Avenue Burnsville, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) and POSSESSION OF FIREARM BY FELON.  GARRETT’s bond was set by Justice Court at $10,000.00 total.
