DRUGS FOUND ON BURNSVILLE MAN

January 18, 2019

On January 17, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Deputies were conducting a Safety Check-Point on CR 944 in the Burnsville area.  A vehicle approached the checkpoint and deputies then learned that the driver had a suspended driver’s license.  The driver was immediately placed under arrest and during the search of the vehicle, deputies found some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE throughout the vehicle along with some alleged MARIJUANA and some drug paraphernalia.  The driver was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.

BRYSON CURTIS, 31-year-old, white male of 75 CR 348 Burnsville, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) as well as several other misdemeanor charges.  CURTIS remains in the custody of the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set by a Justice Court Judge.
