MULTIPLE FELONY ARREST MADE RECENTLY

The Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Office reports that multiple FELONY arrests have been made in the area ranging from narcotic possession to burglary. Those arrests and the individuals are listed as follows:
- 1) On January 18, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to individuals that were removing items from a residence located on CR 179 in Iuka. Deputies found one of the individuals to be in possession of items that had came from the residence and that individual was arrested and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
KEVIN WAYNE CARSON, 48-year-old, white male of 111 CR 989 Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with BURGLARY OF DWELLING. CARSON’s bond was set by Tishomingo County Justice Court at $25,000.
- 2) On January 20, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Deputies received information of a stolen vehicle from a car lot in Corinth, Mississippi. Deputies spotted the vehicle and attempted to stop the vehicle. The driver refused to stop for the deputy and began driving in a dangerous manner to other motorists before finally coming to a stop. The driver was then arrested and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
JEREMY WAYNE RICE, 40-year-old, white male, of 44B CR 172 Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY FAILURE TO YIELD TO EMERGENCY VEHICLE and POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY. RICE is currently out on a FELONY bond for a weapons charge stemming from an arrest back in November 2018. RICE also has a hold for investigation for the Corinth Police Department as well as a hold from the Mississippi Department of Corrections. RICE remains in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court.
- 3) On January 21, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Deputies received information of an alleged METHAMPHETAMINE manufacturing going on at a residence in Golden, Mississippi. Deputies noticed a vehicle leaving the residence and a traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle. At this time, Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Office requested the assistance of the Itawamba County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit. The K-9 unit arrived on scene and detected the presence of narcotics coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle yielded some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE being found in the console of the vehicle. A search of the residence was later conducted and several items were found that is used in the manufacturing of METHAMPHETAMINE. At this time, both the driver and the passenger of the vehicle were arrested and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
BRODY ROGERS, 26-year-old, white male, of 99 Line Road Golden, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF TWO (2) OR MORE PRECURSORS W/ INTENT TO MANUFACTURE A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE and FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). ROGERS’ remains in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court.
CHARLES HESTER, 44-year-old, white male, of 4868 HWY 11 Red Bay, Alabama was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF TWO (2) OR MORE PRECURSORS W/ INTENT TO MANUFACTURE A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE. HESTER also remains in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting his bond to be set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court.
