FULTON WOMAN ARRESTED IN DENNIS FOR DRUGS

On January 30, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on CR 26 for Improper Equipment. Deputies learned during the traffic stop that the driver had suspended licenses. Deputies then placed the driver under arrest and was given a Consent to Search of the vehicle. The vehicle also had two other passengers and were asked to step out for the search. Deputies found some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE residue along with needles in the vehicle. At this time, deputies arrested the two (2) passengers and all three were transported to the Tishomingo County Jail. Once there, one of the individuals admitted to the deputies that she was concealing some METHAMPHETAMINE in her clothes. Deputies were able to retrieve the alleged narcotic prior to entering the facility. Once inside the jail, officers found more alleged METHAMPHETAMINE being hid inside the individual’s body along with a bag of alleged crushed XANAX pills.
JENNIFER ROGERS, 45-year-old, white female, of 75 Deck Taylor Drive Fulton, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE), and FELONY TAMPERING WITH EVIDENCE (2 COUNTS). ROGERS’ remains in the custody of the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set by Justice Court.
