FULTON MAN ARRESTED FOR DOPE AND GUNS
February 7, 2019
On February 1, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff deputies conducted a Safety Check-Point on the Natchez Trace in the jurisdiction of Tishomingo County. A vehicle approached the deputies and while speaking to the driver, deputies noticed some rifles and lots of ammunition throughout the vehicle. Deputies also learned that the driver was currently on probation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC). The driver was then arrested and the weapons were confiscated. Once at the Tishomingo County Jail, deputies discovered some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE on the driver after the driver informing the deputies that he did not have any illegal narcotics on his person. A further search yielded more alleged METHAMPHETAMINE being found on the driver.
CODY PATRICK GRAY, 37-year-old, white male of 1 Old Beaver Lake Road Fulton, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE), INTRODUCTION OF NARCOTICS INTO A CORRECTIONAL FACILITY, and three (3) counts of POSSESSION OF FIREARM BY CONVICTED FELON. GRAY’s bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court at $25,000.00. A hold was also placed on GRAY by MDOC.
