July 5, 2016

Today the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department made an additional arrest to the FELONY CHILD ABUSE that was brought against LONNIE LEE in March 2016. The former girlfriend of Lonnie Lee, and the 4-year-old Victim’s mother, ERICA LOU ANN IVEY, 23 year-old, of 50 CR 196 Iuka, Mississippi, was officially charged with CHILD DEPRIVATION OF NECESSRIES WITH SUBSTANTIAL HARM.

This is has been an ongoing investigation that began back in March 2016, with the first arrest of LONNIE LEE. LEE was charged due to a then 3-year-old white female, receiving injuries to her body and had to be air-lifted from the local hospital to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, where the child was treated for her injuries. Other forms of evidence has already been collected and the Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department is awaiting the results to see if other charges need to be brought forth.

ERICA LOU ANN IVEY, had her bond set by Justice Court at $250,000.00. This case will be presented to the next available Grand Jury.

As the Sheriff has stated before “The Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Department WILL NOT tolerate ANYONE that wants to harm any child and WE will do everything in our power to see that those that do these horrific crimes are brought to justice”.

Sheriff John Daugherty
