TISHOMINGO SHERIFFS OFFICE ASSISTS MDOC IN PROBATION CHECKS

On February 7, 2019, Tishomingo Sheriff’s Office assisted the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) with one of the MDOC’s probationers. Deputies and MDOC Field Agents received word that one of the probationers, that works at a local business, was using narcotics. During the check, MDOC and Tishomingo Sheriff’s deputies located some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE in the purse of the probationer. Deputies then arrested the probationer and transported them to the Tishomingo County Jail.
RITA TUBERVILLE, 61-year-old, white female, of 3680 North Pike Cherokee, Alabama was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). TUBERVILLE also has a hold placed on her by the Mississippi Department of Corrections. TUBERVILLE awaits bond to be set on her new FELONY charge by the Justice Court.
