TRAFFIC STOP SENDS ALABAMA MAN TO JAIL FOR DRUGS

On February 27, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of CR 255 and CR 172, due to investigations into complaints of drugs being brought into Tishomingo County from Alabama. The driver consented to a search of his vehicle and deputies found some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE along with other drug items throughout the vehicle. The driver was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
THOMAS REECE COALSON II, 36-year-old, white male of 1500 George Wallace HWY Russellville, Alabama was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). COALSON remains in the custody of the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set by Justice Court.
