SUSPENDED DRIVER’S LICENSE LEADS TO DRUG ARREST

On February 28, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on CR 193 for not displaying a vehicle tag.  Deputies learned that the driver of the vehicle was operating the vehicle on Suspended License.  The driver was then placed under arrest and a search of the driver yielded some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE being found on his person.  The driver was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.

SHAYN KNUPP, 28-year-old, white male, of 195 CR 255 Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE).  KNUPP remains in the custody of the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set by Justice Court.
