TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO ARREST FOR IUKA MAN

On April 3, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff deputies conducted a traffic stop on HWY 72 east due to reports of the vehicle being involved in a recent burglary over in Colbert County, Alabama. During the course of the traffic stop, deputies learned that the occupants of the vehicle had several stolen items in the car. One of the occupants was placed under arrest due to an ongoing investigation currently being conducted by the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Office for the selling of illegal narcotics. Law Enforcement officials from the Colbert County Sheriff’s Office arrived on scene and spoke with all the occupants of the vehicle, pertaining to the burglary in their jurisdiction. Tishomingo County Sheriff’s deputies then transported the arrested occupant to the Tishomingo County Jail.
JAMES KLETTE, 22-year-old, white male of 1350 Quitman Road Iuka, Mississippi was officially served with a CAPIAS WARRANT from the Tishomingo County Circuit Clerks office, where KLETTE was indicted for the SELL OF METHAMPHETAMINE (less than 2 grams). A $10,000 bond was set by the Grand Jury for that charge. KLETTE remains in the custody of the Tishomingo County Jail at this time.
