BURNSVILLE WOMAN ARRESTED FOR DRUGS AND WARRANT

On April 4, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff deputies conducted a traffic stop on Jefferson Street in Burnsville for Careless Driving. During the course of the traffic stop, deputies noticed the passenger of the vehicle threw something from the passenger side window. Deputies went to where the item fell and retrieved a one-dollar bill with a bag of alleged METHAMPHETAMINE inside. The passenger was then arrested and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
SHERRY ANN GAMMILL, 52-year-old, white female of 40 Harmony Hill Apartments #22 was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). Deputies also was able to then serve an ARREST WARRANT on GAMMILL for the Town of Burnsville. GAMMILL remains in the custody of the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court.
