BOONEVILLE MAN CHARGED FOR DRUGS

On April 9, 2019, the Booneville Police Department transported an inmate to the Tishomingo County Jail. During the booking process, the correctional officer found several bags of alleged METHAMPHETAMINE on the inmate. Narcotic Investigators then processed the inmate and charged him with additional charges, with more charges are possible after the investigation is complete.
WILLIAM JAMAL WILLIAMS, 36-year-old, black male of 102 Adams Street Booneville, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). WILLIAMS’ remains in the custody of the Tishomingo County Jail and is awaiting bond to be set for his new charge by the Tishomingo County Justice Court.
