TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO 3 ARRESTS

On April 22, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff deputies along with help from the Belmont Police Department, stopped two vehicles on CR 16, just right outside the city limits of Belmont for blocking the roadway. Deputies discovered that neither driver had any driver’s license and were immediately arrested. After checking the vehicles and the occupants of both vehicles, deputies found syringes and other items that are used to inject drugs. Deputies also located some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE in one of the vehicles as well. One of the driver’s claimed the narcotic and the other individuals were all transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
TOMMY WADDLE, JR., 33-year-old, white male, of 825 Pugh Road Golden, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). WADDLE also had an ARREST WARRANT from Tishomingo County Justice Court for FAIL TO APPEAR as well as a CAPIAS for BURGLARY of BUILDING, out of Itawamba County. WADDLE remains in the custody of the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set on his new FELONY charge.
JULIAN BLAKE WASHINGTON, 23-year-old, white male, of CR 29 Dennis, Mississippi was officially charged with POSSESSION OF PARAPHERNALIA and DRIVING WITH LICENSE SUSPENDED. WASHINGTON’s bond was set by Tishomingo County Justice Court at $1,050.
BETINA “BRANDI” WILSON, 42-year-old, white female of 421 Second Street Belmont, Mississippi was officially charged with POSSESSION OF PARAPHENALIA. WILSON’s bond was set at $650 by the Tishomingo County Justice Court.
